Cheapest Quietest cooler

I am currently using a stock AMD cooler with my 7860K

Can anyone recommend me a cheap and quiet cooler for it? I don't overclock it etc, only use it for general facebook, youtube etc.

Anyone of those would be better than stock - I would go for the Antec.

As for noise, you would really want a 120mm fan, as oppose to the 92mm fans they are using.

Quick rule of thumb - the smaller a fan the more noisier it is - so avoid 80mm fans definately
 
I have the stock case fan that came with my case, it's not PWM so it runs at a constant RPM.

I have unplugged it, do you think I can get away with not having one as I don't plan on doing any kind of gaming etc, just youtube and surfing.

I have installed the software and it controls the CPU fan fine, it just doesn't do anything to the case fan.
 
Just unplug it, and leave HWmonitor running whilst you go about your activities for a day or so, just in case it gets a bit warm, so you can keep an eye on it but if you are not doing anything stressful i doubt it would get close to being too hot.

I'm only running a cpu fan and I game, an exhaust fan doesn't actually make a massive difference to temperatures, at least for me, but my case is a full size aluminium tower, it might well be more difficult with a smaller case that's got more restricted space.

Seems fine, but what's the max temp after a typical session on the pc?
Something like HWmonitor will also show you the the highest temp you've reached in a period, just leave it running minimised whilst you do whatever you do, and check it at the end.
