cheapest router with port forwarding that actually works

i had a 834g v1 years ago and had no problems with it, then got a v2 free from an isp (no problems with it) and now got a free 834gt from sky and again no problems with it

so i've no idea why it was well known for being "pants" but i rate them very highly
