Cheapest source for a Kaspersky licence?

Rainmaker had a bit of a problem with their licencing a while back - it resulted in OCuk making good on it after Kaspersky refused to honour the wording.

Whether this is a coincidence I do not know.

I don't know if it had any bearing either. But I can tell you I wouldn't pass a penny into Kaspersky's hands again if they were the last AV company on earth. Not to disparage OcUK though; they were excellent and Yewen is a legend. :D

Silly question perhaps but what am i buying if i purchase OEM? Is it a single use cd key so that if i format i lose my AV or is it just a normal package but without box and manual? thanks

I got an email from an online company, that I have used before, noting that they are selling, for a limited period, KIS 2010 3 user licence for 1 year for £12.67

Thanks for that Vimes. (I have just ordered!)
It is due to all the 'good free ones' that keeps the commercial ones at such a low price...

I would agree gurusan, however there are some that prefer their paid for options :)

I use MSE along with Spybot SD (which I donate to), Spyware blaster and Comodo for the firewall. I use FF as my browser along with no scripts (donated to) and adblock plus.

The above combination, for me, is enough to cover my needs.

@JayEmKay

You are welcome. Enjoy your protection :)

Just purchase Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 OEM from OcUK.3 licences for £15. You're buying the same product as retail except no fancy box and manual!
