Cheapest Upgrade Route from Tiger to Leopard

I'm currently using Tiger but I'm looking to try out Plex which is only compatible with Leopard. What's the cheapest route for me to upgrade from Tiger, and how much would I be likely to have to spend? Are there cheaper "upgrade" versions rather than "new install" versions? Are there any other options available to me? As you may have realised, I'm looking to do this as cheaply as possible.

Thanks for the replies, guys. Don't know anyone at university - am too old for that and my nipper won't be going for another 8 years, so I think that's outta the question unfortunately.

I think a guy at work has a copy so I might try and be nice to him. Otherwise, guess I'll have to bite the bullet and buy the thing.

You can get an education discount, not just the higher education discount.

Cool - will give this a go. Have borrowed a copy and decided it's worth buying for what I'm trying to achieve.

Phone up the HE store and tell them you are at University of X and BOOM! HE discount is yours!

Nice - I thought they would've wanted an email from a confirmed address. Guess it's worth a try.
