Cheapest way to build a surfing computer

Need to build my nephew a cheap computer for surfing

tower only .. have a intel 6600quad and a wavemaster and a cd drive.. and 4gb 1gb sticks of geil ddr2 ram

better to use these or just sell these and buy some thing better

needs to be a cheap as possible as i'm skint.. thanks

budget is a small as i can get away with

i have Os plus whats listed above Intel 6600 quad 4x 1gb Geil performance ram cd drive and a spare wavemaster case.

have no power supply motherboard hard drives etc.

is it better to evil bay the above and start with a budget package or hunt down an old 775 board and the other components

just after a bit of advice. can build it myself

bought him a £400 laptop last year which he broke before the year was out so now its a cheap tower until he learns some respect for his stuff..

hes been without it for a few months.. just turned 14..

so a cheap tower so he can get back on the net..
