cheapest way to call abroad ???

Hi,

currently my g/f is in malyasia, was wondering what is the cheapest way to call her ?

She does have a mayalsian and UK ( vodafone ) mobile phone if that's any help, was thinking of something like skype ?

If Skype is not possible, you can just call one of these non geographic numbers (plenty on google) who only charge like 5p a min or something then dial the proper number. Some are rubbish connections though.

e.g. http://www.telediscount.co.uk/index2.php 2p/min for malaysia if she can get hold of a landline temporarily there.

Used them to call my gf in russia last week - line was surprisingly clear. Haven't checked my landline bill yet, so hoping for no nasty surprises.

I use skype to speak to my dad in malaysia all the time, costs very little.

other than that? Skype or another VOIP service.

Dialwise 0.5p a minute for landline and mobile. Use them call to call Canada all the time

moneysavingexpert has a section on direct dial numbers.... second dialwise for 0.5p/min... used it without a prob
