Hey folks,

So I've done without a laptop for a while but I really need one for my college course. I will mainly be using it for programming with visual studio but may need to do some 3d modelling on it or Photoshop work.

The basic specs I'd like:

A good processor - so I'm guessing i5 or i7

Ram - 6gb

HDD - I want to put in a 1tb but I was thinking of getting a laptop that had 2 slots for HDDs and then buying one later. Or getting a laptop with a small HDD and replacing it later with a larger one.

That's all I need and I don't mind installing the components myself so long as it's possibles. But I really don't have the money to go out and buy a £500 laptop.

So any suggestions would be very welcome. Especially if someone knows of a laptop that is compatible with upgrading all of it's parts.
