My Blue microphone is faulty and I have to send it back to Amsterdam in order to get a replacement sent out to me. On the royal mail website they were quoting something like £38 to get it sent tracked which just isn't worth it.

Can someone recommend a cheap carrier to use?

Royal Mail Standard parcels?

Failing that, try parcels2go - they play off the major courier firms off against eachother to get half decent deals.

Did you buy it from a UK retailer? if so then return it to them instead of the manufacturer?

I bought it used with a receipt (it was actually originally purchased from OcUK in 08/14) but they told me I'd have to contact the person I purchased it from but I don't have their contact details anymore.

Fly it over there yourself and then spend the night in the 'dam. Not the cheapest but certainly the most fun :)

Change your name via deed poll to their name, return it to ocuk and tell them you've moved house. Then change your name back.

Meet pedro in the UK, pick up a some money from him, he will pay for your travels, pop over to Amsterdam, on the way stop off at some shadey looking house, pick up a package. Go to your destination to get your mic fixed/replaced.

Come back through airport security looking mighty nervous. Possibly getting sniffed in the bum by dogs.

Make it through UK border security, drop said package back to pedro

That's actually about the price of a return coach ticket. Deliver it yourself :D
