Hi
I am happily in a contract with Sky for my broadband only
However i want BT sport - purely for the rugby.
Just checked and BT do not allow you to purchase a sub through freeview.
So how else can i get it without changing broadband provider and it still be reasonably cheap?

I think you can get an online only sub, and use the app. You'd have to chromecast it to your TV or directly link up a PC/Laptop to the telly otherwise.

thanks all.

tried kodi, thats as much as ill say on the matter.
wish they would let you pay like £10-£12 a month a use it online etc but dont think you can

i know you can get it through sky, pitty you cant just have the sky box, no subscription then pay for bt sport

infusum.tv £14.99 a month. Completely illegal but I'm happy to take a short ban just so you can all bask in its wonderous glow before it goes secret and closed very very soon. The streams are 720/30 and of high reliability.

kodi is buggy as hell for me on W10, always get not responding and can't get that above thing to work trying free 1 day pass.

Edit: Nvm got it working.

Don't understand either why you cant just pay to stream it ? I even told bt customer services they were losing out on customers

Good Facebook page for these guys, but I think they are stopping signups soon..

Can you not get a Youview box by itself and apply for Bt sports on it? My girlfriend has a Youview box (not from BT or Talktalk) and I swear there is an option for BT sports. I dont know if you need a BT boardband line as we dont care much for it but maybe ask some people on the youview forums to see if it can be done. Worth a shot

I think you can pay for BT Sports on PlusNet, supplied down via the phone or via Sat. Maybe different prices for each and you need a YouView box for the IPTV offering.
