Hi,

Between me and a friend (not the MG ZR one ;) ) we are looking at buying a cheap car for a H2R rally and maybe a ring beast. Whats the best method/price insurance we can get for 2 18 year olds, though one has 1 year NCB.

You havent seen which car it could be. ;) If you knew the plans you would certainly agree it is 100% beast!

Trailored isnt an option when its being entered in a rally now is it? :p Cheating i would personally say. ;)

If the 'ring' is the one in Nurburg then I think it's actually a public road and therefore you'll need insurance. It's also a bloody long way to tow a trailer :p.

I also wouldn't fancy driving a £100 car any kind of distance. Up the budget to £500 and you'll have a lot more fun.

Not when the home2rome you need a sub £100 car i cant really. You see the predicament now? :p Also before anyone says, yes i realise i have a screw loose for wanting to ring a £100 car!

Ebay and scrappers is really the best places to find them. Be careful though as scrapyard tried to flog a Nova for £100 which was a real dog. Old Saab 9000, 1.8 diesel Escort, older Volvo's really. But im looking at something more fun then them.
