cheapest weed killer

Hi, has anyone had much success with using bleach to kill weeds on driveways?

Yes I have used bleach and it's fantastic for cleaning slabs and bricks at the same time I even splashed it on the walls of the house at the bottom. Did it 2 years ago and slabs round the side of the house are still looking fantastic I'll need to do it again in about a year's time though as it's starting to go a little green was completely green when I done it.

I bought cheap stuff from Aldi and 50 - 50 mix with boiling water. Wear a gas mask / goggles and your sorted.

I need to use glysophate now for weeds mainly but bleach does both weeds and cleaning in one go.

Once you do the drive you want to get that special sand that turns into a gel and sets when wet. Polymeric sand. Make sure you brush it in on a dry day or else it will set on the stones. That stuff will stop weeds forever as it sets solid and stops organic matter from taking root in the gaps.

Don't use any weed killers apart from salt as mentioned, don't fancy that stuff near my pond or even next doors cats, my mole or myself
The World Health Organization, though its own study found that glyphosate is “probably carcinogenic to humans.” Currently, the European Union (EU) has approved the use of glyphosate in plant protection products until 2022. However, the EU is now beginning to review glyphosate before considering whether or not to permit its continued use beyond 2022.

I did the same, the 5l is going to last me years, just been out to spray the roadside of my fence as the rain looks like it's going to hang off for a little while.

It was recommended to me in a thread on here. The stuff is perfect for me, it is cheap and no weeding needs doing. I also bought the 5l will last me a very long time.

What isn't carcinogenic? Maybe I should get another 5l before it gets banned.

Not sure if it's safe near water, I did read the MSDS/COSHH sheet when I got it but that was a quite a while ago. Do your neighbors cats enjoy eating weeds?
