Hey,
Been wanting to get a wide angle lens as I want to shoot some landscape and architectural photographs. I study architecture and have a trip around Europe in 3 weeks and want to get a wide angle lens by then, as a student I don't have a lot of money to spend (so thats the Canon 10-22mm out :() Could you kind folks recommend a cheap but good wide angle lens for me? I think I want to spend max £250 but the cheaper the better!

Thanks!

Thanks for the replies. I heard good things about the Sigma but I'm a bit reluctant to go with them because I've been told there is a large proportion of them are very soft in quality? I've seen Tamron 11-18mm F4-5.6 AF SP XR Di II for sale for £270 is that a good price or it the Tokina 12-24mm one better? Also is there a big difference between 10mm and 12mm?
