Hi guys, I'm not a bit gamer but I do like to play bf3 every now and then. Currently I've got a laptop that I use at work with a 6990m which isn't too bad but it's a pain to set it up for gaming when I'm at home.

I had a 6870 a while ago but I rma'ed it as it gave interference with my onboard sound card.

I'm thinking of buying a 7850 but 200 quid seems a bit expensive for me at the moment. Are they worth the cash or should I pick up a second hand 6950 or 560ti? Even they fetch well over £100 though...
I game at 1080p and have an i5 with 8gb ram.
Thanks

7850's got to be the best value for money gpu around at the moment unless i'm much mistaken. it only gets better because it can overclock up to 50% on the core. plus surely you want a noticeably better gpu than your 6990m, and i think the 7850 would be it!

If £200 is too expensive right now, just hang back. The 7850 will blow you away. I'm getting it myself based on reviews, friends usage and how well it can be overclocked.
