Am going to be building up a PC/HTPC for my uncle, which we'll be ordering tomorrow, which will be living in the bedroom, and be their only entertainment source in the room!
Everything's gone widescreen these days, and I've not purchased any monitors in years, so I don't know what's good and not!
With a £150 budget for the screen, which would be better for multimedia/HTPC/TV use (ie, which has least backlight bleed for dark scenes, best colours etc) between the:
OcUK Value L-2041W 20" (£103.39, but currently OOS)
and
LG L204WS 20" (£135.11)
and
Asus VW202S 20" (£155.09)
and
Belinea 2225S1W 22" (£140.99 on This Week Only Offer)
I'm considering the 22" so it's just that little bit bigger, and the price is attractive on TWO, but if one of the 20" will be better for the HTPC duties, then that would be preferable over a slightly larger, but not-quite-as-good screen.
Cheers
Garry
