Ok,
So I'm currently running a pair of 7970's in Crossfire at the moment, with a pair of Hazro monitors (a 27" and a 30") - The 7970's only have on DVI-D output per card, meaning I either have to run with Crossfire disabled or use a mini-displayport adapter thing.
Running with Crossfire disabled isnt really an option, for obvious reasons, and the Display Port Adapter thing is pretty unrealiable and has been known to cause driver issues / freezing / all sorts of problems.
After a bit of Google-Fu it seems the best option is to purchase a cheapo graphics card and use it to run the second monitor which does nothing more intensive than VLC Media Player and Firefox - so that is the plan.
However with all my graphics card power outputs in use, I'll need one that can run simply from motherboard power - I'm sure there are tons of the lower end cards around that can do this, but can anybody recommend one so I dont go out and purchase a card only to find it needs power!
Cheers
