cheapxboxlivecodes have apparently turned into a bunch of scammers. :(

Bought 12months XBL on Sunday, got an email back requesting phone numbers to "authorise" the transactions within 5 minutes despite me being an existing customer. So far nothing. 4 emails sent - no response. Logged a PayPal dispute - still nothing.

Save the aggro and pay the extra couple of quid to get it from someone like Game.
 
I had read someone else complain but I've not had a problem with them. I went through a period where they asked for phone numbers and I replied with a suitably annoyed email. They said sorry, gave me a £5 voucher and put a note on my account.
 
I've never had a problem in the last couple of years. Bought XBL and points from hem and always got the codes within 10 minutes.

I got the phone numbers thing, replyed with a slightly annoyed "I'm an existing customer" heres my landline number and stated I don't have a personal mobile. Still nothing. Four follow up emails and a PayPal dispute later and I've yet to get any sort of response.
 
cheapxboxlivecodes used to be great but they have gone down hill. I think Game price their stuff at an ok price now IIRC (digital media that is)
 
Well .... after no contact from them whatsoever I'm allowed to escalate the PayPal dispute. So I do.

Lo and behold within 2 minutes they send me an incomplete invoice form with a confirmation link to get the code sent via PayPal.

No chance. :D

Where's my refund? :mad:
 
No refund. Paypal refused the claim as it's non-physical goods. Time to face that I've been scammed.

Grrr. :(
