So lately my girfriend has been working a lot of late shifts, and for the past couple of months she has been carsharing with a male co-worker. At first I didnt mind in case she has car trouble or something like that, but it seems they have become a little bit more than friends. You know the scenario, the phone calls that hang up, she starts wearing nice clothes to work and talking about him all the time then abruptly stops leaving an uncomfortable silence.
If im out in the garage when she gets home (usually after midnight) he just drops her off and leaves, but if the lights are off in the garage and I'm in the house (they think Im sleeping) they sit out in the car for like twenty minutes.

I asked her once what they were doing, and she said
"Just talking" ....whatever. So last night I decided to see whats really going on out there. So I leave the garage door open ,and turn off all the lights.
About the time she usually gets home, I go out in the garage and wait.. In a few minutes, his car pulls into my driveway, and Im hiding behind my mx5. When his headlights shine through my garage and onto the car, I see something that I just couldn't believe. The rear camber is severely wearing my rear tires. Now I have to get an alignment. Should I go with -1.5 with 1/32" toe out or just leave the toe at 0?

as old as the moon

id ask on the mx5 boards to see who has had good results with which geometry

i highly doubt the camber is wearing them funny, it will be the toe

I posted this joke years ago :p

Although I think it was something to do with a scratched wheel arch and Halfords iirc :D

you want to be really careful with that, my old mx-5 had dodgey ware patterns on it for ages didn't think much of it but i guess it must have been seriously out as the back and rubbing on heavy cornering. Now i'm sure as a sensible mazda driver you wouldn't hoon it round roundabouts and the like but... well lets just say i did my fare share of heavy cornering "on the track".

The side walls must have totally worn away and one morning, on the way to work, the offside rear just blew :( car ended up stranded with only a can of tyre foam a wrecked tyre and no phone on me, i whistled for a cab and when it came near the license plate said fresh and it had dice in the mirror. If anything I could say that this cab was rare, but I thought, “Nah, forget it. Yo, holmes to Bel-Air!” I pulled up to the house about 7 or 8 and I yelled to the cabbie, “Yo holmes smell ya later!” Looked at my kingdom I was finally there, to sit on my throne as the prince of Bel-Air.
