Well, Crysis has only been out a few weeks and it looks like its been hacked already as I've seen video footage on the Incrysis forum of someone that was blatantly cheating.
I had a go at the power struggle mode the other night and there was one guy that was able to single handedly hold off repeated attacks on the prototype facility from different players and also had a very large supply of nades and trip mines at his disposal. Even at the start of the round where everyone is supposed to have limited funds he started with a full compliment of guns, ammo and explosives.
There was also a few times where someone ran up to me at maximum speed and punched my lights out as if in strength mode, giving me the impression that there was no switch from one mode to the other.
Now with my experiences above, these guys may simply be very good at the game, but I suspect its more than just "being good" that allows them to dominate the game as they do. This is I think for me is the main problem with PC games when comparing to consoles as I'm sure its a lot harder to cheat in console games than their PC equivalents.
I just can't see the point in cheating - ultimately it disrupts the balance of the game and makes it crap for everybody else - who would take part in a 100m sprint if some of the runners were in Kawasaki's?
On a separate note - having given the power struggle mode a good go I can't help thinking that Far Crys Assault mode was more fun.
