Cheats out already for UT3!

Hey,

Just been playing some UT3 DM and have come across a couple of people that have aim bots! I haven't really seen any since the game came out but I've seen 2 today. Has anyone else noticed anyone with them?

Is there going to be anything like punk buster released for UT3 or anywhere I can report names of people who are cheating?

I was just starting to get into playing this online, I don't want it to be ruined by cheats

EDIT: Thinking about it, should I be suprised, I haven't play any PC games for a few years, not since HL2 came out, do cheats appear this quickly?

games can be hacked within minutes, dont be suprised if there is a ton of hacks out already. but you sure you weren't just upset from getting pwned and need an excuse?

Heh, I kept noticing that the player was coming first by a long margin on every map so went to spectate them to pick up some tips but it was blatent cheating, just instant 180s, 100% hits with mini gun etc. The one thing I did notice is that they mustn't be able to do shock combos. The player found a group of other slogging it out and rather than fire a shock combo into the middle of them decided to shoot them one by one with the shock rifle (obviously 100% accuracy there too).

I was hoping after my long stint off from online gaming that maybe it's got better but obviously not just have to try and find some good servers. I tend to just play on jolts as they seem to have the lowest ping

... or maybe you encountered some really good players?

I was by no means a great deathmatcher in '04 but could at least hold my own.
I played a deck server one night, and was on a 30-40 odd kill streak 0 deaths... when people started calling me a cheat. The players in question were purely rubbish at it, plain and simple.

Now I'm not calling you rubbish mate, but you yourself said that you haven't played in years, and UT has always been one of those games where a good players will cream a less experienced player. Do you think maybe this was the case?

Yes I have played ut before, yes it was an aimbot, I have played enough online games to know what to look out for (CS, Q2, Q3, UT2004 etc etc), just haven't played online PC games for a while (had a 360).

I was going to get a video of it in fraps and figure out how to upload it so other people can see what to look out for but by the time I had come out, loaded fraps and gone in the server was full.

I knew I'd get all this nonsense if I posted this without proof, just trying to make other people aware of it that's all.
