This seems very good value for many for the htpc i am making, any suggestions?

will be playing some games on it too so want a small ssd for the odd game and os, movies can be stored on the normal hdd and will upgrade as i need.

Yeah was looking at a blu ray drive but not sure which is best?

Looks good,

My only suggestion is to swap the SSD for something bigger?

Oh! So you're going to fail to mention that trinity hates slow RAM today? Just pointing out your failings you don't have to like it ;)

Does look quite nice, the Geil dragon RAM does overclock quite well and your mobo allows overclocking and HDMI output but faster RAM wouldn't hurt.

OEM means he wont get the playback software. The bluray writer is probably not worth the extra cash to be fair, the blank media is expensive. A BD-ROM with a dvd-rw like THIS could still burn to DVD-DL disks which are much cheaper and still have a reasonable capacity. Difference in price between the two could go towards some faster RAM perhaps?

So i will benefit by a decent amount from faster RAM then? what kind of speeds for RAm would be ideal for this build then?

Hows thi RAM then? no reviews so not sure how it handles
