Just a quick check before i buy this lot of bits.

Intel Core 2 Quad Pro Q6600 "Energy Efficient SLACR 95W Edition" 2.40GHz (1066FSB) - Retail

Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 PC2-8500C5 1066MHz Dual Channel Kit (BL2KIT12864AA1065)

Asus Maximus Formula SE Intel X38 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
Im pretty certain on mobo and cpu but is the good enough also?

i would drop the memory down to some 800mhz stuff tbh

are you using an aftermarket HSF, if so then get the OEM version of Q6600

I was going to originally get the OEM but considering its only £2 more for an extra 2 years warranty thought i might as well take it. Using a fuzion water block so no problems there. Was going for some OCZ Reaper 800Mhz ram too but that stuff is only £4 as its on this weeks deals too.
