Here she is, my new baby. Picked her up today. Registered Sept 01, done 17k miles. Absoloutely mint with no marks, scratches or stone chips either. The p/x with my punto almost didnt go ahead because I started her up this morning and she refused the first few times, then she started and a puff of blue smoke came out. Needless to say I did the 30 sec drive to the garage and kept my mouth shut :D

Was also suprised as I didnt think the older ones came with xenons and a trip computer, so I am well chuffed. Havent driven it much today, but took it for a quick spin and still have a big grin on my face. The induction roar is amazing. Excuse the images, taken with a Sony S700i. :)

How much? nice motor mate

A bit more than what its worth....7k. I bought it from a Ford main dealer so it has a 3 month warranty on it which is very comprehensive. Plus they took my Punto in for a good price when no one else would, and it would have cost me too much to get it fixed to sell privately. That was the main reason for the purchase.

Very very nice! I love the 172's!!!

You've gotta bring it to the meet. Gilly and Coco would be thrilled to have another Clio to contend with

Im really considering it, its a lot of miles though. Would be good to meet up with you lot and see all the talked about motors.

How much do you reckon the cambelt will cost to get changed. I was thinking of getting it done in september.

To all the owners of 172/182's. Do you have a really throaty induction roar when you accelerate? I first thought it had an induction kit fitted to it when I first drove it, but its completely standard. Doesnt sound standard at all though....sounds amazing!!
