Hi guys, could you please take a look at my proposed build below to see if there are any improvements / savings to be made.

I intend to use the PC for gaming mostly, so it should play the latest games with scope for upcoming releases.

I already have a case, speakers, keyboard, mouse and monitor. I intend to use XP which I realise won't see all the memory, but I should have about 3.5 Gb to play with (right?)

I forgot to add a soundcard. Is onboard sound ok with regard to any performance hit?

Couple of things I would change is, drop the overclocked cpu and go for the normal one and PSU is slighlty overkill 520w or 620w will be fine - latter if you plan to go crossfire.

money saved can go towards the 1 gig version of the 4870 you have picked

You can save a bit on the PSU as well by picking the corsair 620 its tried and tested by many of us on here.
