This will be getting an X1800XT PCI graphics card from my other machine and plugging into me dell 24" so below is all the bits i need i think, i want to keep the system quiet and be able to mildly overclock the cpu, nothign silly as i want to keep the stock cooler, this will be going from a Pentium D 820 not clocked in a packard bell machine with a gigg of ram, is it worth it? Im stuck with upgrade opportunities at the moment as this packard bell machine only has 2 ram slots both of which are used do i cant upgrade the ram cheaply, it also cant be clocked atall due to the nature of it being a pre-build affair.

Looks solid, planning to overclock at all?

Mildly on the cpu but nothing mad that invloves cranking out wind turbines and ice :), is a clock over 2.2ghz ish viable on the above stuff with stock cooling?

Antec is quality brand and if your only overclocking it by 400mhz I would think the strain would be minimal enough the PSU to cope.

As the for the cooling the above posts answers your question. :p

Stock cooled the 4300 to 3.1 but i found not stable 2.8 is absolutely fine though atm

In regards to going from the P4... you will be very happy
