whats everyone think, planning on clocking the 175 to about 2.6 on air/stock volts, gunna see what i get on stock cooling first then go for some aftermarket.

any additions/changes that any recomends, pc will be used for serious gaming... and thats about it

Looks solid mate, but I would avoid the Maxtor as the 10 series have been troublesome & noisy. Something like a WD, Seagate or Hitachi would be a fine choice. Seagates come with 5 yr warranty, others are 3 yr.

Even if your planning to use the stock cooler (it's actually quite good), i'd still buy a fresh tube of arctic silver 5 for £6.

went with the maxtor for 16MB cache, was gunna go with hitachi of same size but only has 8MB

will def get some Arctic Silver 5. knew i forgot sumat :/

also a quick question about the Ultra-D, does it support SATA-II (i know its supports standard SATA, but cant find wether it supports SATA-II)

"- nF4 chipset supported Serial ATA(3Gb/s)"

Yup, that's Sata-II.

The Western Digital 250GB has 16Mb cache too, and is used in the top OcUK pre-built systems :)

how do you rate the case... looks cool, orgionally was gunna go with the saprano but the Ammo looks cool and is cheap. plus the handle for lans is a good feature
