My line is very stable so I tweak my SnR to 3.5dB to gain extra speed. If you do tweak keep an eye on stability (Loss of Sync etc) and keep an eye on the CRC and other error counters to make sure they are not too high. More speed does not mean more speed if you are doing too much error correction.
