Just a second eye please....Does this look o.k, I already have a DVD player and floppy. Just a simply spec for my grandad.

I'd rather go with:
Samsung SpinPoint S 80GB SATA-II 8MB
Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 PC2-6400C4 800MHz Dual Channel Kit

Pretty much the same price. The SpinPoint will be faster and quieter than the Maxtor. The memories will be faster as well.

What are you going to use to cool the CPU? It's an OEM you've gone for rather than a retail.

Good point, I missed that.

Either change the CPU to:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 5000+ 2.60GHz (Socket AM2) - Retail (£45.99 inc VAT )
Or add the:
Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro PWM CPU Cooler (£17.24 inc VAT)
