Looking at a simple build for general office stuff, photo editing and the odd game here and there (mainly things like Planet Coaster and other sim type games etc). Im going to see how I get on with the on board graphics and if I need to upgrade to a dedicated grahics card I will add it in at a later date.

Must be 10 years since I last built a computer so if anyone could advise on the below Id be really grateful:

You're going to need a GPU. There is currently no onboard graphics with these Ryzen chips, they're scheduled to come out some time later. I would also for the sake of £20 more upgrade to a 1600 for 2 more cores.

Yes it would. However, what's your overall budget? Could you stretch to a 1050Ti or a 4GB RX 560? They will do well at 1080p gaming.

Indeed. You can't skimp if you want to be playing planet coaster.

You should check that that RAM is on the HCL for Ryzen. And I concur with the GPU
