Hi guys take a look over this for me please and tell me what you think, or if i can make it cheaper

need a full system inc monitor and OS. Mainly for gaming. Also am i right in think that the motherboard is capable of symmetrical Crossfire for future upgrade? Thanks guys.

Good spec. I would personally change the PSU to a Corsair model but that is just personal preference really. Not sure about the Xfire bandwidth though sorry

oh if youve got a child at school or your at colledge you can get weindows 7 cheaper

Looks good, the motherboard you chose does "proper" x8x8 crossfire is pretty much as good as it gets on the P55, this should be fine for 2x 5850s.

As for the graphics card, seriously - wait a few days. The 5850 is a lovely card, but with the new Nvidia cards being released tomorrow, things may change soon. If the Nvidia cards don't shape up or are too expensive, I would suggest going for this version of the 5850 instead - its £5 more, but the warranty is better and the voltage tweak ability is very nice.

But apart from that, good spec and there is no way to cut the costs significantly without heavily compromising on quality/performance.

yeah the asus 5850 is a great card with bios unlocked great for overclocking

Thanks for looking at this for me much appreciated, didnt know the Nvidia cards were out so soon so will wait and see what happens with them, thanks for the heads up cmndr_andi. Do you think that its the best ram for the money? there's a few around the same price, also is the PSU up to running 2x 5850s?
