Check my fish tank.

out of interest what sort of population could u get in your tank? do the clownfish need a lot of room?

I have done quite a lot of research and I could have in my tank maximum of 4-5 smal fish. I am not planing on keeping a protein skimmer so I will stick to the minimum live stock I can have, probably I'll stick to 4 small fish.

My tank is 24 US galons, and its aparently only about 76litres. I had 4 x 20 litres canisters of RO water when I bought the tank, its deffo less that 80litres as I had some water left.

76 litres is too small for clownfish! Yet alone two of them!

Read: http://www.tropicalfish4u.co.uk/Fish/SaltwaterAndMarineFish/ClownFish/OcellarisClownfish

MINIMUM tank size 90 litres.

The common clownfish requires a tank of 90 litres or larger

Then minus the space your live rock, sand, filters and thermostat takes. You have fish in a tank that is half the size of their minimum. Only big enough for a couple of cleaner shrimp.

Don't always need a Marine tanks for nice fish. ;)

Oh ok, here's mine.

I have never seen anyone saying that 24g nano cube is too smal for 2 clownfish and this is a very popular tank, I am a member of few marine fish forums and have seen many nano cube set ups.

Now you have, 24 US G is too small. I been keeping fish for 15 years. Only very popular because it is tiny and cheap. A real marine tank will be out of reach for the noob.

Yeah, to be honest I'm shocked because I know that keeping Marine fish are expensive. I only keep Tropical myself and I know full well that I spent way more on my setup than that. Albeit that it is a bit larger at 55gallon, but I'd expect it to be so much more for Marine.

no need to act like such an arse about it.

The guy has clearly done plenty of research about it, and to be fair his fish look fine and above all happy and healthy :)

How sweeeet till they bite you, repeatly. ;)

Anything interesting come out of the live rock yet?

Some bad crabs. I have managed to catch 8 crabs in total, then I got plenty of tiny snails, some small starfish (the good ones), and plenty of other tiny creatures, I still spot new living things every few days.
