As in title check my build! please :)

- Intel Core i7 950 3.06GHz (Bloomfield) (Socket LGA1366)

- Asus P6X58D-E Intel X58 (Socket 1366) DDR3 Motherboard

- Geil Black Dragon 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 PC3-10666C7 1333MHz Triple Channel

- Antec TruePower New Modular 650W Power Supply

- Samsung SpinPoint F3 500GB SATA-II 16MB Cache

- Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium - Retail (Full Version)

- Noctua NH-D14 Dual Radiator CPU Cooler

- Logitech G11 Gaming Keyboard

Total Cost = £812

I am not upgrading my GPU as it handles the games i play. I Also have a Crucial C300 64GB SSD.

I will be overclocking, will the Noctua fit in my case?(antec 1200). Also read that it may block some memory slots? Is the 650W power supply enough? I'm not planning on any sli/crossfire.

Cheers.

dont buy that memory

1600mhz corsair xms3 will set you in good stead.

buy that and save yourself the regret.

What up with the Geil Black Dragon, though they were reasonable ram, or is it the case other makes are better.

I would like to know aswell.

thought as long as a spec hasn't got ocz gold ram specified then it can't go wrong.

its 1333
1600 leaves more headroom and is about the same price.

i would take a kit of corsair over a kit of geil every single day of the week

tbh the kingston 1600mhz c9 would be just as good

OP - if you arent overclcoking then stick to the original choice. but with that board, a 950 and some decent ddr3 it would be a crime not to clock it.

you have to change around 5 settings in the bios for 4ghz and 1600mhz memory makes the most sense.
im only speccing low profile memory as the D14 noctua will overhang the memory. and the cooler suggests you will be clocking.

also, get a 930 over the 950 and save some cash, all bloomfields clock the same

Great..the antec power supply, noctua d14 and G11 are out of stock. any ideas when they will be available?
