Alas, its time to dump my old "Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 system" so I have built my basket from parts I think are good and hopefully compatible. I dont intend on playing games just some light video and music editing, streaming video, surfing and MS Office.
I looked at parts that can be upgraded in future and have been limited to the ever shrinking stocks.
Some parts may be OTT for my use and would consider scaling down to try and get closer to my £750 budget.
I have been searching for how to post my basket with the links etc but cant work it out:confused:

Really appreciate any advice :)

Thanks Charlatan, well spotted the read/ write is certainly a lot better, I do prefer your recommendation but will have to cut down on something else. I know I am overkilling it so could I cutback on the graphics card or go for the Ryzen 5 3400 with onboard graphics as I need to get closer to £750.

As for the B550 XT CPU Quartz, I dont think I would miss the improvement for what I am using it for ( it would be wasted, somebody needs it more than me )
