Hello,

I've run this case like this since first built it
But never thought to check with people with more expert know how if the fans and air flow would be correct.

Carbide 500r Case.
Corsair H110i Hydro AIO - Cooler

Here is a post i made when i first installed it at the time:

I have to admit it took me about 3 hours to fit it to the Carbide 500R

The only way it would fit was placing the radiator on the inside of the case, hose towards the front.

Then placing the fans on the top under the black mesh grill as an Intake.
pushing cold room Temp into the case through the radiator. The hot air is then exhausted out the back of the case.

Because of this Retro fitting, i had to use the long fan screws, screwed in from the top of the case, through the fan holes, through the top case and into the radiator.

It was extremely difficult trying to line up the screws and all the guide holes, practically blind as the radiator and fans prevented me from seeing what i was doing. After a lot of trial and error, Checking and Rechecking i managed to get it mounted into the case.

If i was to over tighten the screws, it would have been going into the fins or risk causing a leak.

Picture below for reference.
Any tips on cable management or don't worry about it?

You need to use another image host for pics as photobucket wants you to pay to be able to post pictures on forums etc.

As a rough guide you should set up front and bottom as intakes, rear and roof as exhausts.

If you use any top exhaust vents/fans they need to be back of CPU cooler or they will be pulling cool air from front intakes up and out of case thus drawing warm air up from GPU and into cooler. I always remove all PCIe back slot covers for more rear vent area and better front to back airflow.
