Spec is looking good :)

Couple of options, the XFX below is only £10 more, But there is nothing wrong with the Corsair :)

And the retail version of the cpu offers extra 2 years warranty for extra £10 ~

Looks good to me. The 7850 as RJC said is a really good graphics card for the price it's at. Definately suggest the retail version of a CPU whenever you get one. Since they do carry +2 years warranty for £10 more as RJC said. And you get a nice paperweight as well. xD

if you have extra $$$ to spend

If your not planning on sli or crossfire you could choose a cheaper motherboard, but there probally will be 2 less sata ports.

Is this an option ?

Thanks for the tips guys, especially about the CPU I thought by saving a tenner I was losing a paper weight but 2 years warranty  glad I asked before I bought anything.

Case wise I've been looking at the HAF 932 advanced, bit more expensive but it a full tower and with 3 230mm fans cooling should be a-OK. But that Zaliman looks like a nice case

My current monitor is 1920x1200, and I picked that mobo because if I did want to go sli/crossfire down the line I've got the option to do so. Budget wise for the GPU will be about 350-450 pounds but is a 7970 only needed if am going to go max setting on super high res monitor/s?

Who knows what the future will bring. If you have £350, go with a GTX670 (Gigabyte Windforce, KFA2 EX OC, Palit JetStream).

For memory, 2GB is enough for single screen. I would definitely go higher for multiple monitors. The 7970 is made for multiple displays (high bandwidth, large memory).
