So my Nephew has been going on and on about getting me to build him a desktop PC for Netflix and general internet use. I already have the Case, Keyboard, Monitor, Mouse, OS, RAM [4GB DDR3 1333MHz] and CPU cooler, however I will be buying the rest of the parts from OcUK.

I would appreciate it if you could check the parts I have noted below and confirm im on the right track? :)

I would change the SSD for this:
YOUR BASKET
1 x OCZ Vertex 4 64GB 2.5" SATA 6Gb/s Solid State Hard Drive (VTX4-25SAT3-64G) £63.98
Total : £71.72 (includes shipping : £6.45).

The Intel uses the Sandforce controller which is a NO NO!

I personally think you would have been better off with Trinity:

YOUR BASKET
1 x OCZ Vertex 4 64GB 2.5" SATA 6Gb/s Solid State Hard Drive (VTX4-25SAT3-64G) £63.98
1 x GeIL EVO Leggera 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-14900C10 1866MHz Dual Channel Kit (GEL38GB1866C10DC) £39.95
1 x MSI A55M-E33 AMD A55 Chipset (Socket FM2) DDR3 Micro ATX Motherboard £38.99
1 x AMD A4-5300 3.40GHz (Socket FM2) APU Trinity Dual Core Processor (AD5300OKHJBOX) £37.99
1 x Antec VP350P 350W '80 Plus' Continuous Power Supply £32.99
1 x Asus PCE-N15 300Mbps 802.11B/G/N Wireless PCI-E Network Adapter £22.79
1 x OcUK 24x DVD±RW SATA ReWriter (Black) - OEM £16.99
Total : £265.68 (includes shipping : £10.00).

Thanks for that mate. Im set on an Intel build however and already got 4GB of RAM for him. Thanks again.

Many thanks. Yes I note it's an ATX board but that is not an issue. He's just happy that his uncle is building him a computer (if only he knew how easy it is) Im more excited than he is tbh lol!

Ended up ordering the spec below for him which I think is a good compromise. He uses the Xbox for gaming so this build is never going to be pushed too hard. He's a little limited with only a 60GB SSD but I can always fit a HDD for storage at a later date. I have a Gelid Tranquillo which im going to use to keep the noise down and for added peace of mind as the Intel push pin system has always been a bit hit and miss for me :D

Thanks for all the help guys ;)
