Check my spec for pitfalls / errors please chaps

what sort of design software will be used, just to check it will make use of the i7.

ssd wise check out the crucial m4's and the samsungs.

think you'll need to change the memory as the air cooler might have an issue with clearance on the heat spreaders when fitted.

are you looking to sli the card in the future ?, if not drop the psu down to a 600/650 unit.

will you make use of the 120mhz/3d features on the monitor ?

I have read the reviews and everyone rates the M4 but the write speeds are 300mb compared to the Agility's 550mb?

I want to stick with the RAM, so what cooler should I look at instead or should I just grab an H60 and not worry about air.

SLi in the future yup.

I know the Gigabyte Winforce is a bit cheaper but the reviews have the CUII Top the 670 leader at the mo

Designy apps, 3D studio Max, Pshop, Illustrator.

Budget not really an issue at all, although I don't like to be silly. Like Warren Buffet said "the price is what you pay, the value is what you get".

for the ssd it depends if you want fast or reliable, not sure if the agility 3 issues have been sorted.

have a check on the speeds for the samungs.

cooler wise have a look at the ocuk and antec hydro units over the corsairs.

if the design work is a major part of the kits use, have you considered an ips screen ?

Good point about the screen but the design stuff is for me to **** about so not so important, I really want the 120mhz and super slim screen. May well go for the M4disk too. Will pop a revised spec later. Thanks

Thanks Honosuseri

Prefer a discrete case, white is not my favourite. Should have mentioned I have a Nas and some spare drives so dont need more storage. Want a retail opti drive so I get the bundled software. The H100 has some dodgy reports so I am looking at the Antec cooler. Giving graphics card some thought

Going by what you and other have said i think this will do you well, programs like PS and Illustrator can utilize more memory, that corsair ram looks nice but you would be wasting your money when the green can offer so much more (with a little patience).

I feel you don't need a sound card when the on board sound is great on the current line of boards, give the on board a go first before you spend out on a sound card.

I have chosen the M4 SSD, i am a massive advocate of them, there reliability is second to none and their reed/write are very impressive, i had a corsair GT fail on me......twice and it on scored 6.9 on WIE, both of my M4's are going strong and both score 7.9 so they must be doing something right :)
