Hey all, im getting a new pc on the weekend

My budget is £700

How is this looking?

I have a case & OS etc

any recommendations? thanks in advance

Nice spec, but I would change the hard drive to the Samsung F1 or the F3 which are good performing drives.

I might you night want to look at a bigger Hard drive and maybe a quicker one. If you dont want a lot of storage maybe go for:

and bear in mind that the graphics card you requested is out of stock and cahnces are you will not receive it for at least 2 weeks id guess.

Also why have you added the artic cooler? are you planing on over clocking the CPU?? If your not you might as well drop the oem cpu and go with the retail one.

yea thx for the advice, Ive got the arctic Just in case i overclock, but im going to be running at stock for time being....hard drive I might maybe get a bigger one but ill be looking at havin 2 or 3 so size isnt really an issue at the min.

Im going for a walkaround Bowlers computer fair in manchester on saturday so ill be comparing prices etc and whatever OC beats on i shall order from them

hmmm an issue ive been thinking about, the wire thats currently connected to my moniter/graphics card is a good old blue one u kno with the 2 screws either side (name??)

and the slots on all the graphics cards im looking at are white square ones or hdmi ones...am i going to need a new moniteR?

in short no

the blue cable you speak of is called D-Sub/VGA and the white square one is called DVI, there will be a DVI to VGA adapter included
