Hi,

Been out of the building loop for an age so am not too sure of all the latest stuff and what goes with what, so could you kind people cast an eye over this lot and see if it will work together(the price is my absolute top limit for an upgrade). Uses are mainly WoW & grafix work.

Yeah drop the AM2, C2D is much better

Can keep the rest

If you wait till Monday the C2D will be cheaper due to price cuts and the like

Thanx, but to keep within my budget the C2D would have to drop in price by £92, not really an option

Yeah stretch for the C2D if you can, but if your budget is limited then I'd swap the RAM for the OCUK Value 2Gb PC6400 kit for a little less and swap the GFX for a 1950pro.

Also look into the B-grade and clearance section as well, lots of good deals to be had there - there's an ASUS M2V in B-grade for only £23 at the moment.

Thx again but it still puts me over budget and the mobo has to be micro-atx.

How about this?

You need a CPU cooler as well so you need the retail version for £10 more.

The HDD has great value for money but only 250Gb. If you really need the storage then go for the 7900GS and the Hitachi 320Gb.

You can save a few £ more by going for the M2V-TVM.
