Hi I haven't built a pc for ages and would appreciate it if somebody could tell me if this spec ok?
What I want from this build is for it to be reasonably quiet, futureproof for a couple of years and cheap.
I mostly use my current pc for a bit of work and some gaming, mostly counter strike source and half life 2. I've never overclocked before but I'll probably try it with this new pc.
Thanks in advanced.

Do you think its worth waiting a bit more to see if the prices of the core2duo drop or if it does will it be only by a few pounds?
To be honest I am ready to order now because it seems like I've been waiting for ages. First I was waiting for the 8600, which turned out to be a waste of time and then the new core2duos.

prices have already dropped mate, just buy it now - as soon as you buy it you will see something better - thats the way it goes,

i got a mate whos been waiting for his 8800 gtx to come down in price for months while ive been enjoying my gts and its not come down much or as anything come out thats worth upgrading for.
