What do people think to this spec?

Gigabyte GA-H55M-UD2H Intel H55 (Socket 1156) DDR3

Corsair XMS3 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (CMX4GX3M2A1600C9)

Intel Core i3 540 3.06GHz (Clarkdale) (Socket LGA1156) - Retail

HIS ATI Radeon HD 6870 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card with FREE CODMW2 PC-Game

Any suggestions/changes?

Thanks.

Dont really want to pay more for the i5 i intend to overclock the i3 and it will be on watercooling.

I have a OCZ powerstream 520W i imagine this will still be good enough?

Thanks

That PSU is fine, the powerstream brand is fairly well trusted.

The i3 is decent for gaming and a good overclocker, but the i5 is worth the money to upgrade if you can.

This man speaks the truth.
If you can find that extra £60 or so pounds then get the i5 - will last you years and they overclock very well.
If you cant, then you'll still have a strong performing gaming rig!

I take it you already have the watercooling gear? If you're actually planning to buy it for the i3, save the cash and put it towards swapping the i3 to an i5 quad core.

Bear in mind when deciding that that little UD2 has no heatsinks on the power devices. OCUK had problems cooking them when trying to overclock quads on them but they seem to be OK for dual-cores.

Again, this man speaks truth.

If you don't already have the watercooling gear, stuff it and get an i5 - but, be careful when overclocking as there have been a few cases of the UD2H going bang when overclocked too far.
