check my spec please

well like i say im not too sure yet i havent made up my mind on the gpu the cards are very similar but the daul fan looks much better and appears to me that it has better cooling as well but if i go with the iceq i get about 60 golden nuggets back

EDIT - mabe not the iceq has better cooling lol

ok i think you made your point 6950 ice q it is lol
this may sound stupid but i have an asus geforce 9600gt in my current system, will i be able to use this card in my new system dedicated to physx or will it conflict against the new gpu?

Nvidia put a stop to using a Nvidia card as a PhysX card with a ATI main card a while ago, there is a PhysXhack that allows the use of newer Nvidia drivers, but there is also a test I seen that using a slow card such as a 9600GT to do this PhysX can slow the game down as it cant keep up.

ahh i see :(
so now i have replaced the dual fan to the iceq along with the rest of the system what settings on bf3 you recon the system can handle?... unfortunately i dont have the budget to play it on ultra but high settings is what im aiming for

Theres loads of BF3 tests out there at various resolutions and settings using a variety of cards.

ok i see, well i think im just about ready to order now unless there is anything else i will need or anything you can suggest?
good thing you are always patrolling the forums aswell i mite need your expertise on overclocking the system ;) lol

ok well thank you for your help mate i will upload the build log once it gets here so you can see it in action and i will give you a shout if you can help me oc ;)
cheers again mate

Overclocing is simple with that board, for even easier overclocking there is a Turbo50 feature in the BIOS, just select a speed from 4.0, 4.2, 4.4, 4.6 and 4.8Ghz or something like that.

I don't know, I havent used my Asrock board for months, really should sell it.

I know that 4.6Ghz was perfectly fine,

And yes I have run Prime95 longer than that using the board.
