hey guys this is a spec im looking at building pls no comments on the case as i have some big plans for it modding wise and idont want to spend 200 pound on a case and mod it encase i fk it up :p

but are all the water cooling bits OK ? i got a 360 which i know i can fit in the front of the case

and also a 120 to go on the back of the case with an exhaust fan

loop will ok 360 rad to pump/res combo to GPU to 120 mm to CPU to 360 mm

will this work and do i have enough cooling for good ocs on my system

And will the 120 help the temps at all or should i not bother ?

another question i would like to get some like 40 degree bend barbs ive seen them on videos but i cant find them on overclockers ? any advice?

thanks in advance guys

Here is an example so it may help you more experienced guys help me on what fittings i will need

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

again thanks in advance for any help

so the fluid will not cool the system ?

so what do i need to buy to use those angle fitting does the tube fit right on them ? sorry it my first watercooling build im still not to sure on the fittings ect

so i dont need barbs with these fittings ?

the rotaries looks good can i just connect the tube right to them and they fit into the holes in the rad and gpu cooler and the cpu cooler and the pump and res /

also what blocks do you recommend ?

will the 120 not do anything ? its more for the look tbh

thanks for the help

Yeah, but it's not meant to be used for extended periods. It'll lose it's sparkle when the pearl settles and could also lead to clogging.

No, you attach your barbs/compression fittings to the angled rotary.

The block is fine, it's just that some people don't like the looks of the CSQ range.

It won't hurt, it just might not do much in terms of lowering temps.
If you want it for the looks and whatever temp help it may offer, go for it
:)

I'm using the phobya equivalent of that EK rad and running the same GPU with an old bloomfield i7 (much hotter) and my temps are fine. The extra 120 is probably overkill and you're not likely to see as much benefit from it due to it exhausting already hot air over the rad.

As for fittings, it's personal preference imo. I've read good and bad about rotaries and personally managed to get 2 doa 90 rotaries (EK ones) but once I got them RMA'd and replaced they worked perfectly in my loop and it makes things a lot easier to work with.

thanks for the replys guys could i use these fittings ?

also what the easiest way to make the 6 fan cables tidy ? im dreading a mess of cables to feed all them fans any ideas ? and shall i get PWM fan or normal one what's the real difference what will be est for my mobo

thanks for all the help guys

You could get two of these and stick them on a fan controller. Feed the cables through the back of the motherboard tray and hide them.

Could be a better way, but this is what I've done.

Agree on the 120 not being needed, also you appear to have gone pretty overkill with fans there, by comparison my system has a GTX670 FTW edition with EK full cover block and an i7 3820 OC'd to 4.5GHz with EK Supremacy, my cooling consists of a thick low FPI 360 rad (like the one youve have selected) with one of the fans you have selected and two 500RPM Scythe kaze fans on it.

The highest my CPU temps ever go is mid to high 50's and that's after hours and hours of gaming, sometimes if the central heating is on full it may reach 60 however this is only because I have my mobo set to run the SP120 PWM at ~600rpm until the temps hit 65 degrees (which they never do) then ramp up (my folding/Prime temps are fine). The highest my GPU has never gone is 58 degrees after gaming for practically the entire weekend.

How are you planning on fitting a 360mm rad in that case without heavy modding?

I think its a mad way to go when you can pick up the switch 810 on two for 130 quid that will take the 360 and a 240 easy with no modding required just screw straight in

Personally id ditch the case in favor of the switch ditch the aurora in favor of pastel blue ditch the single 120 in favor of a 240 for the front/bottom and scrap push pull with those fans you dont need it

No modding enough cooling to go sli in the future if you wanted its basically all plug and play and if you wanted you could save nearly 30 quid by fitting the graphics block yourself
Personally id also add a fancotroller too something like this
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-072-BX
to keep the fans ultra quiet when idling
Lastly if using a fan controller id ditch the low noise versions of the fans you dont get anywhere near the same static pressure compared to the full strength versions
