Hi all.
I'll be building a new high end gaming machine in January, and this is my current draft. As you can see there's no GPU. That's because I intend to use a 2070 Super I have on loan until later on in 2024 when I will upgrade my monitor from 1440P to a 32" 4K OLED. At that point, I'll also be upgrading my GPU to something much beefier. Are there any glaring errors with this spec, bearing in mind it will be paired with a 2070 Super for now only, but then a new high end GPU at a later date?
I think it's all compatible, but just wanted to check if I could get better bang for my buck switching any of the parts? The X670E motherboard and 1200W ATX 3.0 PSU are overkill for a 7800X3d and 2070 Super, but I could very well want to drop in a 8800X3D and/or RTX 5090 further down the road. Budget is about 1200-1300 UK£, although I'm in the EU. And as you might be able to tell, I'm trying for a stealthy black non-RGB build!
Thanks in advance!
