2GB DDR2 XMS2 Dominator PC2-6400C4 TwinX (2x1GB)

Intel Core 2 DUO E6600 "LGA775 Conroe" 2.40GHz (1066FSB) - OEM Intel M

Asus P5B Deluxe (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard

HIS ATI Radeon X1950 Pro ICEQ 3 TURBO SILENT Heatpipe 256MB GDDR3 TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (H195PRQT256DD-R)

I realy cant decide on the best overclocking spec, doing my head in...

1. is this a very reliable oc mobo, ive heard mixed reports.
2. is there ram that will oc better than the dominator
3. any better bang per buck suggestion for the gfx card.

my overall budget is around £700 gbp (only need the above 4 components.)

any opinions would be much appreciatedand sorry for this boring forum topic

A cooler for the C2D wouldn't go amiss

Urmm, as for the rest of the system, looks decent enough to clock well.

oh yeh forgot to put that in, i will prolly get the scythe or something.

so is that mobo the best overclocker for around £130?

what about the ram, is there anything better than that about?

well how about an E6300, they can be overclocked to 3ghz quite easily, and then you could get a slightly better graphics card.

I don't know all that much about C2D to be honest, all I know about it is from this forum, I'm hiding in the shadows with the AMD-ATi.

i want the e6600 for the extra cache but the e6300 is a possibility.
