Firstly, unless you really need the 975X chipset that Shuttle offers, it might be worth going for one of the cheaper options, like the SD36G5. That way, you could stetch to the E6600.

Apart from that it looks good. It's a pity the X1800XT isn't single-slot, as it blows that 7900GS out of the water.
 
If you want a core 2 duo definetly go for a shuttle with the 975 chipset as it a lot better, i have a shuttle and absolutly love it, have fun with your rig. I would recommend for any media center system to get an ati remote wonder plus as they are far better than the ones shipped with media centre.
