i posted earlier in the week, have decided to up the budget slightly to accomodate for better graphics card, so i dont have to upgrade again for a while..... rather then buying x1950pro and then buying a new card later on.....
does this sound all good??? i matched the processor and ram for overclocking potential later in computers life...

Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium 64-Bit Edition DVD - OEM - 1Pk

Intel Core 2 DUO E4300 "LGA775 Allendale" 1.80GHz (800FSB) - Retail

G.Skill 2GB DDR2 NQ PC2-6400 (2x1GB) CAS5 Dual Channel Kit

Gigabyte GA_965P_DS3 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard

BFG GeForce 8800 GTS OC 320MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express)

2 quick questions.....

does vista 64bit still support most of the stuff xp does games wise, i know about drivers and have found 64bit ones for the appropriate hardware......

also i have a X-PRO 460W PSU, without overclocking anything will it be ok do you think?? will be running 1xdvdrw 2xhd and a couple of usb things, webcam, card reader....

cheers again for any help,

melbourne720 is right which leaves you the option of switching the Ram or the motherboard, if the Ram then either the OcUK PC6400 2gb kit or maybe the OCZ PC6400 would be a good choice. If you are changing the motherboard then the Asus P5N-E 650 SLi works with pretty much all Ram as far as I know.

The X-Pro 460w is still a good PSU but not ATX 2.0 compliant so you would need an 20-24pin adapter for the motherboard and a molex-PCI-E adapter for the graphics card as a minimum so a new PSU might be a good idea overall. :)
