I am building my first ever computer and i have chosen my parts. i would be very grateful if you experts on the forums would look over it and check that i have everything down?

i expect you will be wanting my specs?

right before you post i have a few things to say first.

1. i would like a definitave yes or no answer, no maybe.
2. i already have a minitor/mouse/keyboard.
3. is it worth the extra £17 to get win 7 untimate instead of just home premium?
4. do you have any tips or guidance when building the system?

It isn't much better to get the Ultimate than Home Premium, so I wouldn't spend the extra, but I take you aren't wanting to game on this system, so it will be fine for your needs, and should be quick too

Also, you could consider the Antec 300 for a few pound more?

Whats going to be the main use of the computer?

main use will be for college work, borwsing the internet and light gaming (will be getting a dedicated graphics card later this year (when i have the funds )

I would change the hard drive to the Samsung F3 500GB.

Stick with Home Premium, unless you need the options of Ultimate.

What sort of video card will you be looking to purchase?

Might be an idea to get a slightly higher powered psu now, rather than find out when you get your new video card the Corsair isn't up to scratch.

What is your monitors native resolution?
