Check on 980 Compatibility

I'm sure it'll be fine, but thought I'd double check...

Would a G1 Gaming 980 have any issues running with an i5 3570k (stock settings) in a ASUS P8Z77-V LX2 MoBo? PSU would be Superflower 750w Gold.

I upgraded to a GTX980 before I did the CPU & mobo & it ran fine and increased my FPS considerably, a month or so later I added the rest of the kit & games now run blisteringly fast.
I had an ancient Q6600 & an Asus P5K mobo 6Gb DDR2

tbh im not sure myself I myself am running a gtx 980 with an i7 3770k and stock clocks.
I don't seem to be having any issues but others should be able to help

If it worked fine on my 7 year old system then i can't see why there would be problems

I was thinking maybe the CPU or Motherboard would have compatibility issues, maybe a BIOS flash required or something.
