Hey guys I am making a new rig for a friend. He managed to get some parts sorted already and wants me to put it together for him. Can you check it out and let me know your thoughts?

What he has bought already:

.ASRock M3A770DE AMD 770 (Socket AM3) DDR3 MicroATX
Motherboard
.AMD Phenom II X4 Quad Core 960T Black Edition "95W Edition"
3.00GHz (Socket AM3) - Retail
.XFX HD 6850 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
.Vertex 2 60GB SSD
£205

The rest I have to sort for him:

.Cooler Master Elite 330U Midi Tower Case - Black/Silver
.OCZ CoreXtreme 500w '80 Plus' Power Supply
.GeIL Black Dragon 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-10666C9 1333MHz Dual
Channel Kit
.OcUK 22x DVD±RW SATA ReWriter (Black) - OEM
.OcUK Ultra-Slim Wirelesss Desktop Set (6311ARF)
£135.95

So hes spent £340.95 total, doesn't need a monitor or need the PC for intense gaming or anything too taxing.

He got the GFX as it was a bundle price for the lot, but I may attempt to buy that from him!

Let me know if anything looks off, or if I could improve anywhere for him. Questions welcome.

YOUR BASKET
1 x BitFenix Outlaw Gaming Case - Black £39.95
1 x OCZ CoreXtreme 500w '80 Plus' Power Supply £32.99
1 x GeIL EVO Leggera 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (GEL38GB1600C9DC) £31.19
1 x OcUK Ultra-Slim Wirelesss Desktop Set (6311ARF) £19.99
1 x LG GH24NS90 24x DVD±RW SATA ReWriter (Black) - OEM £18.98
Total : £154.20 (includes shipping : £9.25).

Better case with cable management as his budget doesnt seem to allow for a modular PSU.

1600mhz RAM, handy for overclocking the AMD CPU and it's priced nigh on the same as the 1333mhz kit you picked. The optical drive is faster for not much more

Cheers for the spot on the RAM. I changed the order at the last minute to include that ram. I kept the original case though as that's what he preferred believe it or not. I overlooked that the MOBO could support the faster speeds.
