Jetway a210gdms w/ onboard x300 on the northbridge - phwooor!

7,515 in 3dmark2001

that's running the core @ 456mhz, 256mhz over stock - a respecable 128% o/c and 4th on the orb. I think its the ram that limiting me since the onboard has no dedicated ram. i need to be running 1:1 at ~270fsb to get me into 1st place.

that's compared to the x800gto2 i sold a few days ago:
32,394 in 3dmark2001

for some reason 3dmark reads my fsb as 0 if i run @ 270mhz....

onboard poweh!. But now i need some advice. what do i buy next? the x1800xt 256mb cards are looking to be very good VFM, but can i do better?

What do you get in 03? My onboard 6150 gets 1600 odd. Can you set CPU to 2.2ghz? (same as mine)

My wifes got an x200 in her laptop. never benched it but from reviews i think it makes about 800 in 05. Dont quote me on that tho

2nd on the orb, so close! my cpu score is way down compared to the guy at the top though. my 5,253 vs his 6,342 and his running at 2.8ghz vs my 2.98 :confused:

got a little update here. i managed to get the system running a little quicker.

the specs:

opteron 148 @ 3025mhz
fsb = 275mhz
ram running at 5:4 or 220mhz
the onboard x300 now running at 1.9v / 467mhz :eek:

the score: 7,924

2nd on the orb. damn my geil ram for holding me back lol.

You using Win 2k as i suggested yet?

It will add at least 1k points to 01 with DX8 installed

This looks fun, I had an X300SE PCI-E card that could clock way above 100% on the core, I had to keep upping the max clocks in ATI tool. I even put my waterblock on it to brutalise it some more

Hmm something up with your cpu score my a64 3700 @ 2.5 ghz scores more than your 2.98 chip...

tell me about it. ive no idea why it was that low, im still pulling 27-28s on a 1mb superPI run. maybe it was a glitch? i ned to run it again, but it takes so long lol

that's the last resort lol. if got everybody else spanked on core speeds and cpu speeds. its just my damn ram holding me back. if i cant beat them with dx9, then i will have to resort to dx8 lol.

...or if i do beat them, then i'll use dx8 and really extend the lead lol

BUMP!

Dont want to let this thread die yet, i'm now waiting on some 2x512 Geil ultra-X pc4400 TCCD's for some 275 1:1 goodness. Im gonna take that record and smash it. when im done with that, im gonna actively cool the northbridge, look into volt mods and stamp that no#1 spot into the ground.
